Instead of researching keywords, research demographics

Keywords are no longer relevant (you’ll see in a minute). Invest your research time into demographics. Once you’ve picked the CPA offer to promote. Then go to a site like Quantcast.com. And research what kinds of people will be interested.

Market on display networks

So you know what your promoting and you know who will be interested. You can advertise directly to them on display networks. And use images as your ads. And there was no keyword research required. Plus you’re going to save a ton of money. Image ad clicks are much cheaper.
